Bookish Superlatives

Saturday, September 7, 2013
I loved this post idea and couldn't wait to do my own!

Characters

Most Likely to Change the World
Karou and Akiva from the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series

Cutest Couple
Anna and Etienne from Anna and the French Kiss

Class Clown
Will Herondale from The Infernal Devices
(Can you imagine having him in class? He'd probably burst out into song in the middle of physics!)

Most Likely to Become Famous for their Athletic/Musical/Artistic Abilities
I'm tempted to say Zuzana from the Daughter of Smoke and Bone series, but I want to feature another book, so....
Connie from the Jasper Dent series for her acting ability.

All Around Good Person
Liam from The Darkest Minds series

Biggest Flirt
(Basically the literary version of Captain Jack Harkness)
Rosto from the Beka Cooper series

Most Likely to be Fought Over
Noah Shaw from the Mara Dyer trilogy

Most Likely to be Friends Forever
Cammie, Bex, Liz, and Macey from the Gallagher Girls series

Most Likely to have their own Reality Show
Evan from Audrey, Wait! (Promotion for his band, of course.)

Most Unique
My gut instinct is to say Karou (definitely in a Daughter of Smoke and Bone mindset tonight), but I really need to think of other books!
Instead, I'm going to give with Luna Lovegood from the Harry Potter series

Most Likely to Survive an Apocalypse
Katsa from the Graceling series

Most Likely to be a Villain
Ladybird Hope from Beauty Queens

Biggest Wallflower
Would it be too obvious to say Charlie? My alternative is James from Audrey, Wait! (even though I already used that book. Oh well!)

Most Likely to Break Your Heart
Daniel from the Something Strange and Deadly series (but he breaks it in the best way!)

Most Changed
Elisa from the Fire and Thorns series

Most Likely to Get Arrested
Sam from The Diviners (all of that pick-pocketing is going to get him in trouble one day!)

Self Proclaimed God/Goddess
Billy Dent from the Jasper Dent series (another repeat book, but we'll just let this slide, yeah? Billy Dent certainly thinks he's superior to all of his "Prospects")

Best Person to Bring Home to the 'Rents

 Books

Most Likely to Make You Cry
NO COMPETITION.

Dares to be Different
I've never read another book like it.

Best Dressed

Most Likely to Make You Swoon

Loveliest Prose

Most Likely to be a Favorite of 2013

Most Likely to Change the World (or Change Your Life)

Book You Are Most Likely To Keep Putting Off
The third TMI book wrapped up everything so nicely. I will read this- eventually- but it's not at the tops of my list.

Most Likely to End Up as Holiday Gifts for Someone I Know

Most Likely to be Thrown

Most Likely to be Read More than Once
Just once or twice or ten times.

Most Likely to Make you Read through an Earthquake because it's THAT Engrossing

Most Likely to be Passed onto your Children

Most Likely to Break your Heart into a Million Pieces

Most Likely to Brighten Up your Day

What books would you give superlatives?

  1. Fun post! Agree with cutest couple and class clown. And Liam...I love him! I was a bit wary of reading City of Fallen Angels, but just knowing there was more out there, I just had to do it. And the Mara Dyer series, one of my absolute favorites! ~Pam

  2. I like how you picked Luna as unique character :D I agree about Elisa as most changed character. I love that girl. Cry: Fault in our stars, yeah! Loveliest prose: the book thief, was also my pick. This book is so gorgeous <3 And I'm really looking forward to The bitter kingdoms.

    Great choices!
