In My Mailbox (48)

Sunday, September 2, 2012
IMM is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren to share what books you've bought/borrowed/received in the past week!

From the Library:
Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky
I wanted to reread this one before the movie comes out, and I'm really glad I did. It even inspired a discussion post that will be up in about two weeks!

In the Mail:
Chasing the Skip by Janci Patterson
Bounty hunters, felons, and forbidden love- I can't wait to start reading this!
Thanks, Macmillan!

Piratica III by Tanith Lee
I read the first two books in this series nearly three years ago and then hoped against hope that the third would finally be released in the U.S. It never was, but thanks to book bloggers, I discovered The Book Depository and FINALLY bought it!

The Kill Order by James Dashner
Ah! I finally have a copy! I adore this series and was crushed when I thought it ended when The Death Cure came out. Thankfully, I can now read the prequel!

Everyday by David Levithan
I've heard great things about this one and am really intrigued by the premise. Also, David Levithan just seems really cool.

I have no clue what I want to read first! What did you get this week?

  3. Great haul! I read The Perks of Being a Wallflower a few months ago and I really ended up hating it. Hopefully you enjoy it more than I! I also bought Every Day this week. I actually went to an event with David Leviathan yesterday, and yes he is as cool as he seems. Enjoy all if your new books!

  10. I've read Perks before, but it's been YEARS. I'll need to revisit this before seeing the movie! And I've never, ever read a Levithan book. I am SHAMED. Every Day seems like a great place to start :) Enjoy your books!
