I really fell in love with the book Wanderlove and have now added Central America to my list of Places to Explore Someday. Until then, I'm using Google Images.
Warning: As always, I try to avoid spoilers, but unless you've read the book, I wouldn't advise reading this.
The market in Chichicastenango is the first place Bria goes with the Global Vagabonds. As she learns from her tour guide Dan, the market takes place twice a week.
Next, Bria takes a chicken bus to a brief stop at Guatemala City.
She, Starling, and Rowan then make their way to Rio Dulce. That, of course, is a picture of the actual river, not the town they stayed in.
They go to Livingston next and take a hike in the jungle.
Punta Gorda, a town in Belize, is their next location.
Next they stay in Belize City, which is the smallest Central America capital, I believe. (But don't quote me on that.)
And at last they make it to Laughingbird Caye, the home of Lobsterfest!
Bria finds her own way to Flores, Guatemala.
And the last stop on Bria's adventure: Temple IV.
Well, what do you think?
