JGW: Swag Every Nerdfighter Will Crave (6)

Saturday, January 7, 2012
Yes, you own every John Green book, you're anxiously awaiting your pre-ordered copy of TFIOS, and you have a playlist of all of Hank Green's songs on your iPod. Maybe you're one of the lucky few who got one of John's used Sharpies during Project for Awesome and you may even have Hank's posters. But after exploring the Internet, I found a few Nerdfighter Swag items that you might not have, but that you'll definitely want.

A DFTBA license plate! Even if you can't drive yet, or don't own a car, this would be so cool to own. (But you might want to wait until you can drive.) Found on John Green's tumblr.

I found this here, which is a website I've never been to before. (So I don't know how trustworthy it is, although the name sounds familiar and it looks pretty legit.) Yes, you can actually buy your very own Nerdfighter iPod case.

Found on the nerdfighter "ning" site. I know what my pumpkin's going to look like on Halloween...

A few weeks ago, John tweeted about how Mama Green sells soaps. On her site were adorable DFTBA soaps so I had to get one.
You should go order some - they are very cute and this one smells really good :)

It’s true. Our mom makes soap using milk from the goats that she raises. The soap is excellent—it is the only soap in our home—and it is possibly made using the milk of a goat whose birth you watched on the Internet.
DFTBA soap made by Mama Green herself! You can get yours, here

This was on Tumblr, and I'm pretty sure someone made them, although they look so professional! How cool are they?

You probably already knew about this, but there's an App! I just discovered this and I'm pretty darn excited. You can buy it on iTunes.

(P.S. I'm not getting an compensation if you buy this stuff- I just thought it was cool! :)
Do you have some awesome Nerdfighter swag? Let me know!

  1. Ok, so I will admit the I was curious about John Green after reading this post (evidently, I am "notsome,") but after doing some research, his books sound well... awesome! Plus, my husband is also a Kenyon grad. :)

Only comment about the swag: as an Ohio State grad, not sure I can get excited about a M!ch!gan license plate. :)

Thanks for exposing me to a new author!

Your comments brighten my day. :)
